The Empowerment of the female head of the family and its relationship with family life satisfaction
Abstract
The research aimed mainly at determining the nature of the relationship between the empowerment of the family wife and the satisfaction of family life, and the problem of research is determined in revealing the nature of the relationship between the empowerment of the family wife and the satisfaction of family life, the research sample consisted of (300) women of different economic and social levels the sample was collected from the governorate of Kafr Al-Sheikh in a by-the-eye way, the field application was made during January 2020, and the research tool was formed from General Data Form for Heads of Household, Housewives Empowerment Questionnaire, Family Life Satisfaction Questionnaire (all prepared by the researcher). Findings of the research: - The existence of a positive statistically significant correlation between empowering the female head of the family with his axes (economic empowerment, social empowerment, political empowerment) and satisfaction with family life in its dimensions (satisfaction with economic life, satisfaction with social life, satisfaction with psychological life, satisfaction with a healthy life). -There is no statistically significant correlation between the empowerment of the female head of the family and satisfaction with family life in its dimensions and some variables of the social and economic level (duration of marriage - number of children - level of monthly income). -There are statistically significant differences between working and non-working female heads of household in the total empowerment of the female head of household in favor of female heads of families, while there are no statistically significant differences between working and non-working female heads of households in the total satisfaction with family life -There is no statistically significant difference between female heads of household in the study sample in empowerment according to each of (the educational level of the head of the household - the educational level of the head of the family), while there is a statistically significant difference between female heads of households in satisfaction with family life according to each of (the education level of the head of the family in favor of) High level) - the level of education of the female head of the family in favor of (the high level). -The difference in the participation rate for the independent variables with the dependent variable according to the weights of the regression coefficient and the degree of correlation with the dependent variable.
