Abstract

Objective: This research aims at finding design bases for the internal space of the educational guide in the middle schools, commensurate with the actual needs and uses of that space. The importance is to contribute to the awareness of the impact of the internal design of educational spaces in the improvement of performance and aesthetic, and its beneficial to the educational institutions, including the Ministry of Education. Objective: The research is a design attempt to add to other attempts in the field of interior design, and it is unique in dealing with the internal space of the educational guide, as well as opening up knowledge horizons for researchers in interior design to benefit from the results of the research. The problem, its importance, its purpose and limits, and then the definition of the terms used in the research and its definition. The theoretical framework consisting of two subjects, the first contained the design principles of the internal space extension and included a historical overview of the guidance spaces and identity, through the structural elements and non-structural constituents. The second contains the cognitive and organizational characteristics in the extension spaces, and addressing the cognitive and organizational characteristics of these spaces, where he gave a full explanation of these characteristics. A set of indicators adopted in the analysis process for field research procedures was then extracted. The research procedures in terms of methodology, the research community, the sample of the intentional research, the research tool used, the format of the analysis axes, and the description and analysis of the sample. The findings: The entrances of the guided spaces have exceptional abilities to represent the value of the place, to achieve a state of polarization and to guide the guided students through the advanced methods of design which adopt the principles of harmony in colors and shapes received by the recipients. The determinants of the guidance spaces and their relationship with neighboring spaces, as well as their location, have an effective impact on privacy data and their role in achieving a state of confidence, safety and tranquility among space occupants. The materials achieve the desired conditions in achieving the status of acoustic and visual insulation and employing them in the appropriate locations for the guided spaces to achieve an actual presence that embodies the state of trust and concealment within those spaces, as well as the privacy of individuals and the place. The location and direction of the openings in the guided spaces have an effect on the natural lighting data and their role in lighting the interior spaces and their functional and aesthetic values as an auxiliary element of industrial lighting. The internal guidance spaces acquire their complementary appearance characteristics in the case of the use of complementary elements and markings in a manner that simulates the design requirements.
