International Arab Journal of Dentistry

Aims & Scope

Aim and Scope

The “International Arab Journal of Dentistry” (IAJD) is a peer-review specialized scientific journal that publishes articles in French and English. Starting January 2023 the editorial board took the decision to only accept articles written in English while the abstracts will be displayed in both English and French languages.
Its main concern is dentistry, covering all related scientific and practical subjects to this field. IAJD encourages submission of scientific papers, case reports and review articles, related to oral pathology, oral hygiene, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry and oral surgery.
It is a regional journal, launched in June 2010, with the collaboration of Arab and European Professors and Researchers in different dental specialties. Being a peer-reviewed publication, all manuscripts are subject to a double blinded reviewing. A minimum of two reviewers and, when needed, a statistical reviewer, will analyze each manuscript, put their comments and send their recommendations on accepting or not the article.
Under the new guidelines of the editorial policy of favoring the publication of high-level research papers, decision was made in 2020 to appear twice a year, end of May and end of November. The editorial committee will ensure the rigorous application of selection criteria to ultimately retain articles of irreproachable scientific quality. The IAJD provides immediate free access to its content, based on the premise that making research available to the public, free of charge, promotes an increased global exchange of knowledge.
