Abstract
The present paper addresses the impact of promoting the values of harmony, dialogue, equality, brotherhood, freedom, humanity, individualism, justice, pluralism and rationality. In addition, awareness of mans rights and freedoms is an effective tool that helps confront the various manifestations of extremism and violence. The results showed that culture of nonviolence, non-extremism, and conflict resolution must be spread peacefully avoiding the trends of identity hatred and excessive centering on rejecting the other. On the extent to which learners acquire the principles of living together through a life skills approach, as well as the adoption of an authentic evaluation that transcends the classical assessment that does not exceed the evaluation of knowledge, among its basic principles. Moreover, the teacher has to go beyond the prevailing ideology that considers the school as an independent space in its own right. Thus, it is substantial to introspect in his/her educational and pedagogical practices the expectations of the community and young learners from the school.
