Abstract
Recently there has been a significant increase in demand for services that provide quick and dependable delivery and door-to-door pickup. As a result, networks for international air express carriers services have quickly expanded, creating increasingly competitive markets for airlines. To design a stochastic-demand cargo container loading planning model that reduces overall operating expenses while upholding operational limitations is the main objective of this research work. To achieve this goal, we must consider all of the relevant operational requirements. The model is presented in the form of an NP-hard nonlinear mixed integer stochastic program, which is the classification for the problem. To solve the problem, we devise a direct search strategy.
