Treatment of Operator Algebras through Cohomology Theory

Abstract

In this paper, we study invariant properties of the dihedral cohomology of operator algebras. We focus on the Banach algebras with an involution as an example of operator algebra. It is shown that, important observations can be obtained from our results on discussing the relations between the dihedral and cyclic cohomology of operator algebras.
