Abstract

The main objective of this study is to identify the dimensions of social welfare for juvenile delinquents, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in light of Vision 2030. The descriptive and analytical method has been relied upon as a methodology for the study to achieve that goal. The results of the study on the reality of social care for juvenile delinquents indicated that the Kingdom had taken the initiative to provide social care services to juvenile delinquents, based on the principles of Islamic Sharia and what was stipulated in the Kingdom's laws and regulations. It has also been shown that the Kingdom works within the social welfare policies to take care of juvenile delinquents, as well as those exposed to delinquency, through several institutions established for this purpose, and the most important of them are: the role of social guidance, girls ’care institutions, and the role of social observation, in addition to the care it gives to the post-social care of juvenile delinquents. . Also, the results of the study showed regarding the starting points of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, related to social care for juvenile delinquents, that they include strengthening the principles of social care and developing them to build a strong and productive society. Hence the importance of providing forms of social care necessary for juvenile delinquents. With the intention of bringing them back into their community of building and development plan; Utilizing their energies to increase work and production; And rehabilitating them to be active in the development of Saudi society. Finally, a number of appropriate methods have been completed to develop social care directed to juvenile delinquents, in the Saudi reality.
