Abstract
The study aimed to identify the intellectual stress and its relationship with the five factors among teachers of gifted students in Jeddah, and to reveal the degree of intellectual stress among teachers of gifted students in Jeddah, also revealing the degree of the influence of the five factors on the personality of gifted students teachers, according to the gender variable (male, female), and identifying the significance of the differences in the relationship between intellectual stress and the five major factors in the personality of gifted students teachers according to the variables of the study. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive and analytical approach was used in its correlational form as an appropriate method for the study, the study community consisted of all teachers in gifted schools in Jeddah, and the study sample consisted of (150) male and female teachers, chosen randomly, and two scales were used to test the study sample: the scale of intellectual stress and the scale of the five major factors of personality. Important results of the study came as follows: There was a presence of a statistically significant positive relationship at (0.01) between intellectual stress and (neurotic) factors among teachers of gifted students in Jeddah. There is one positive (direct) relationship and negative (opposite) relationship; The level of intellectual stress among the teachers of gifted students in Jeddah reached (43.59) out of (100), which is a low degree of intellectual stress.
