Abstract
The present study aims to identify the role of Arabic language supervisors in developing teaching skills among high school teachers concerning the three teaching fields (i.e., planning, implementation, and evaluation) and total teaching skills. Therefore, the author utilized the descriptive approach and applied a questionnaire to (80) male and (103) female Arabic language high school teachers in Najran in the first semester of 2016/2017. The results showed that Arabic language teachers agreed that educational supervisors develop moderately their teaching skills in the (planning, implementation, and evaluation) fields. Moreover, the study recommends holding training courses for educational supervisors on the diversity of educational objectives and the modern teaching strategies that promote interaction, creativity, and participation.
