Abstract

The aim of the research is to evaluate the Master of Curricula and General Teaching Methods Program at King Khalid University in light of the proposed criteria, and to provide a proposed vision for the development of the program, and to achieve this, the research used the descriptive survey approach, and the research tool was a questionnaire designed based on criteria proposed by the researcher, taking advantage of previous educational literature The questionnaire included (43) paragraphs, divided into five axes: the program’s mission and objectives, the program’s teaching and learning strategies, the program’s plan, methods and methods of program evaluation, scientific supervision and research services, which were applied to the research sample that consisted of (37) students who graduated from the program. During the past five years, the results reached the availability of standards in the Master of Curricula and General Teaching Methods Program at King Khalid University to a large degree, and the mission and objectives of the program came in the first place to a large degree, and the research services and scientific supervision came in the last place with a moderate degree, and the researcher recommended to reconsider the methods Methods for evaluating the program and the research services provided therein; The results showed that its effectiveness is moderate.
