Abstract

The study aimed to know the administrative and organizational difficulties facing female student guides in the schools of the city of Arar; Knowing the professional and technical difficulties related to school administration and teachers; And knowing the professional difficulties related to the students and the parents. The descriptive method was used in this study. The study population consisted of female student guides at the Department of Education in Arar, and they numbered (80) student guides. The sample of the study consisted of (25) female student guides at public education schools in Arar. The study used a questionnaire, consisting of thirty paragraphs, classified in three axes, namely (administrative and organizational obstacles, professional and technical obstacles, and obstacles related to students and parents). Descriptive statistical methods were used, in calculating the number of iterations and percentages. The results of the study found that the phrase "weak effectiveness of the criteria according to which guidance and counseling supervisors are chosen" obtained the highest percentage (76%), while the phrase "the low number of field visits by guidance and counseling supervisors to schools" has obtained The lowest percentage (24%) in the (administrative and organizational obstacles) axis. And the phrase "the small number of female student guides in the field of guidance and counseling in schools" obtained the highest percentage (52%), while the phrase "the lack of interest of female student guides in the guidance and guidance of female supervisors" got the lowest percentage (28%) in the (Disabled) axis Professional and technical). The results of the study also revealed that the phrase "the low cultural and educational level of parents" received the highest percentage (44%). While the phrase "Parents' interference in the affairs of the student counselor in the school" has obtained the lowest percentage (8%) on the topic (Obstacles related to students and parents). The study recommends the necessity of conducting an organized formal plan for the mentoring process.
