The present study aimed at identify identify the effect of using the Web Quest strategy at developing Spatial Perception and achievement in the subject of social studies among Primary school students,It is considered one of the researches concerned with employing technology in education in light of the trends and vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030,The study used the semi-experimental method, the experiment was applied a sample of (40)students of the fifth grade of primary school in a school in the Qassim region,divided into two groups: an experimental group (taught by using web quest) It consisted of (20) students, the other is a controlled group taught in the traditional method It consisted of (20) students.
To achieve the objective of the study the researcher prepared (a website based on the strategy of the Web Quest), and he also prepared each of the achievement test to measure achievement in the National Unit of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the subject of Social Studies,And the spatial perception test to measure the level of students' performance in the ability to perceive spatial, and the research reached these results: The use of the Web Quest has a positive effect on the development of both spatial perception and achievement of the subject of social studies, And the studies of the experimental group excelled Those who studied using Web Quest outperformed on the same level as their control group who studied in the traditional method,The study recommended a number of recommendations: one of the importants: The distance from the usual traditional methods of teaching geography and the necessity of using the Web Quest strategy in teaching all skills related to geography due to its importance in achieving many educational results, Teachers' use of the Web Quest strategy in other studying subjects because of its advantages in educational aspects.
