Abstract
The current study aims at identifying the factorial structure of smartphones addiction scale (SAS) in a sample of secondary school students in Al Jahra governorate, Kuwait (N= 306) with age range 16-19 (M= 17.25, SD =1.10). Results show excellent goodness of fitness indices (CFI=0.902, TLI= 0.898, RMSEA= 0.056, GFI= 0.905, IFI= 0.912). The scale proved to have a test -retest reliability, Cronbach’s alpha, and internal consistency for all the six dimensions: disturbing daily life, positive anticipation, withdrawal, cyberspace-oriented relationships, overuse and tolerance.
