Abstract
The study generally aimed at identifying the degree to which the academic leadership at the Saudi Electronic University practice administrative creativity skills, and to achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive survey research method, and the questionnaire was used as a tool to collect the data from the study population, which consisted of all administrative leaders at the Saudi Electronic University, who were (56) individuals, of whom (50) leaders responded, i.e. (89.3%).
Many findings were reached by the study, most notably: the Saudi Electronic University academic leaders' practice of administrative creativity skills came with high degree, the results also showed that there are many obstacles face academic leaders at the Saudi Electronic University to practice administrative creativity, and among the most prominent of these obstacles: the lack of providing monetary incentives, and the powers granted to leaders are limited. The study also presented several proposals that would enhance university leaders’ practice of administrative creativity skills, most notably: studying new ideas seriously, showing interest in them, and applying good ones, as well as providing qualified and highly efficient administrative leaders recognizing the value of creativity. Moreover, the results showed that there are statistically significant differences at the (0.01) level between the averages of the individuals' responses to the degree of the Saudi Electronic University academic leaders' practice of administrative creativity skills according to the Educational Qualification variable in favor of respondents who are PhDs degree, also, there are statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level between the averages of the study individuals' responses to the proposals to develop administrative creativity skills for academic leaders at the Saudi Electronic University according to the Years of Experience variable; in favor of respondents who have years of experience between (5-10 years).
