Abstract
School violence is a social problem that varies from one society to another, and it is a reaction that is nothing but a social phenomenon that deserves to be analyzed and treated
Psychologically, it is a deficit of self and self to adapt to the demands of society. The paper aims to know the relationship between school violence and moral development, and whether morals have a major role in reducing the phenomenon of violence inside schools. Allah says “And indeed, you are of a great moral character” (Al-Qalam 4). Describing the Messenger, may blessings and peace be upon him, and moral growth is a pattern of thinking related to the moral evaluation of things and events, which precedes every action or behavior and relates to the way in which the individual reaches a certain judgment related to right or wrong, while violence is an extreme behavioral response that appears in different manifestations such as hitting Insult ... etc. This emotional response results from a decrease in the level of insight or wrong thinking towards some situations or topics. The researcher believes that there is a relationship between the weakness of religious faith and school violence, as Islam leaves no aspect of life except for it. Allah says “So by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter” (Al-Omran 159). As the Islamic ethical theory emerges from the Holy Qur’an and the noble Prophet’s Sunnah which makes behavior straight and virtuous, and from Al-Nawas bin Simaan, may God be pleased with him: I asked the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, about righteousness and sin, and he said righteousness is good manners. Narrated by Muslim and al-Tirmidhi, and this hadith explains to us the creation and immorality, and man by nature tends to do good deeds because he has a cognitive power that tends to that. Allah says “By the Earth and its (wide) expanse. By the Soul, and the proportion and order given to it; and its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right” (Al-Shamms 6:8), “And shown him the two ways” (Al-Balad 10)
Many previous studies, which dealt with the ethical aspect and its relationship to school violence, also indicated that there are statistically significant differences between the older and younger pupils in the moral pattern of thinking in favor of older pupils (the study of Albishy 1422), and most studies showed that the vast majority of individuals came at the second level. One of the levels of moral development (adherence to norm and law) as in the study of the falcon in 2005 AD
This is why the school should be an appropriate climate that achieves psychological and academic compatibility for students. If students find the appropriate atmosphere, climate, conscious management and teachers as role models, there is no doubt that this will be reflected in their behavior in terms of morality, psychological and social. The researcher recommends holding religious awareness-raising programs and seminars within schools, which aims to develop the moral aspect that is accompanied by a decrease in the degrees of school violence.
