Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the cognitive behavioral counseling program to reduce aggressive behavior among middle school students, and the researcher used the semi-experimental approach, the study sample consisted of (40) students from Al-Baha tawfiq school students, and it was randomly selected, the researcher used a questionnaire to measure aggressive behavior reduction among middle school students from the (researcher's) preparation, the study yielded several results, the most important of which are: there are statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the pre and post mean averages of the experimental group for reducing aggressive behavior among middle school students in favor of the post-test for the experimental group, there are statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the pre and post mean measurement of the control group to reduce the aggressive behavior of the middle school, also, there are statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the two measures of the two dimensions of the two groups of experimental and control groups to reduce the aggressive behavior of the students of the intermediate stage in favor of the post-measurement of the students of the experimental group, and, based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended that middle school students should pay attention and work to develop their psychological and behavioral abilities so that they can achieve various positive aspects to reduce aggressive behavior.
