Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of availability of crisis management competencies among school leaders in Bisha governorate from the teachers ’point of view, and to reveal whether there are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α 0.05) between the mean responses of the study sample to the degree of availability of crisis management competencies among school leaders In Bisha governorate, it is attributed to variables: (educational stage - years of experience - training courses), and the study used the correlative descriptive approach, and relied on the questionnaire as a tool for collecting information, which was applied to a sample of (2395) a teacher in the Bisha Governorate Education Department for the academic year 1440/1441 AH, and the study concluded that The degree of availability of crisis management competencies among school leaders in Bisha governorate from the teachers ’point of view was high in (planning, organizing, directing and following up). There were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α 0.05≥) between the study sample members about the degree of availability of crisis management competencies among school leaders In Bisha governorate from the teachers ’point of view, it is attributed to the variables (educational stage - years of experience - training courses), and in light of these results the study recommended the necessity of holding a role Training and workshops for school leaders on crisis management competencies, and how to employ them in schools.
