Abstract

This study aimed at reveal the relationship between the abilities of a teacher with successful intelligence on the analytical giftedness of preschool children. The study sample consisted of 10 teachers from kindergarten in Jeddah, and they were divided into two groups: The first group is the teachers with the highest score on the scale, and the second group is the teachers with the lowest score on the scale., while the sample of children is composed of 30 children of teachers in the two groups. The two samples were selected by the intentional approach. The study relied on the correlational descriptive approach. The teachers were tested with the Self-Estimate Scale of Successful Intelligence, while the children were tested in two stages, before and after using the Wechsler scale for pre-school and primary school children. The results showed a strong positive correlation between the averages of the total of successful intelligence and the analytical, creative and practical abilities of the first group (teachers with the highest score on the scale), and the averages of the analytical giftedness of their children. On the other hand, the results showed a weak positive correlation between the means of the total of successful intelligence and the analytical, creative and practical abilities of the second group (teachers with the lowest score on the scale), and the averages of the analytical talents of their children. The study recommended to applying special training courses for preschool teachers. The study recommended to develop their successful intelligence and apply it in the development of children's gifts In particular Analytical giftedness.
