Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the extent to which Arabic language teachers practice methods of developing creative thinking skills in teaching the Arabic language course for the secondary stage in the State of Kuwait from the point of view of supervisors, and to identify individual differences in the sample response about the extent to which Arabic language teachers practice methods of developing creative thinking skills Teaching the Arabic language course for the secondary stage in the State of Kuwait from the point of view of the supervisors due to the variable of gender and experience, and the descriptive and analytical approach was used, and the study population consisted of the educational supervisors in the State of Kuwait for the academic year 2020/2021 AD, and a random sample of (120) was selected An educational supervisor, and a questionnaire of (22) items was used, and the results of the study found that the arithmetic averages ranged between (3.51 - 3.61), where the class environment axis came first with the highest average My arithmetic reached (3.61), while the axis of activities supporting and stimulating creativity came in last place, with an arithmetic average of (3.51), and the arithmetic average of the tool as a whole was (3.56) and with a degree The results of the study also found that there were no statistically significant differences Y ( = 0.05) attributed to the effect of gender, and the existence of statistically significant differences (= 0.05) attributed to the effect of experience in favor of those with experience of 10 years or more, and based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended the need to train teachers of the wild language on methods Developing students' creative thinking skills through training courses, preparing a guide for Arabic language teachers that includes methods of developing creative thinking and its skills, creating an educational environment that allows Arabic language teachers to practice creative thinking methods during the educational process, and conducting other studies on the extent of language teachers ’practice Arabic methods of developing other styles of thinking such as critical thinking.
