Abstract

Imam al-Haramyn Al-Juwayni - May Allah be merciful to him - is considered as one of Imams of doctrine of Al Shafi'i, since he was a reference to the doctrine and to establishment of its rules and principles. He has a great effect upon his follower, his book (Nihaya al_ Matlab fi Dirayat al_ Mathhab) Is considered as one of his prominent and important books.

This study focuses on the interpretative views and the Qur'anic sciences for Al-Juwayni in his book, with illustrating his approach in presenting of these issues. His concern on the interpretation of Al Ayaat that he deduced the rules and principles was noticed. Also, his concern shown on some sides of Qur'anic sciences. He has been distinguished in his concern on religion rules and on goals of Sharee Islamic law, and on following Al Sunna, followers' (Al sahaba) sayings, and the way of alsalaf.
