Abstract

The study aimed at clarifying the practices the pilgrim does at the Day of Arafah and their Fiqhi provisions, with an examination of the Fiqhi opinions and provisions concerning the ritual of staying at Arafah, especially the time, place and procedure. The study also investigates the relevant Hadith and Athar from a modern viewpoint.

The study is divided into three domains. The first defined the concept of staying at Arafah, its virtues, its provisions and procedure. The second examined the time (beginning and end) and its provisions. The third tackled the provisions, practices and Athar that hadn’t been mentioned in the previous domains.
