Abstract
This study deals with the deep themes included in Surat al-Bayyinah, which is a Surah that deals with religions existed at the beginning of Prophet Muhammad’s mission. The Surah talks about polytheists, and People of the Book the Jewish and Christians. The Surah talks about their waiting of the prophet before he was sent, their attitudes towards him after he was sent, and their division into believers and non-believers of the message of Muhammad.
The study shows that the believers and successful of them are those who followed Muhammad’s religion. This conclusion is supported by evidence from the Qur’an and the available news that tells us that those who had previous knowledge about Muhammad divided into two groups: those who followed him and believed and those who did not follow him.
