Abstract

Social adjustment is one of the most important terms of the recent social and educational studies. This system has a decisive impact on the advancement societies and the realization of the purpose of Shari'a, which is to preserve the nation's system and safeguard values.

This study is intended to shed light on this term in Islamic thought in terms of defining the concept of the term, its objectives, goals, means, and mechanisms. The study then presented the most important challenges facing the system of social controls.
