Abstract

This study discusses the contemporaries criticism of hadith of Israa and Mi'raj in the Sahihin, it determines the reasons behind such criticisms, and the shortcoming in the methods by the critics, the ahadith of the prophets' night journey to Jerusalem and his elevation to heavens, the criticism was directed to the number of prayers mentioned in the hadith, and the number of the prophets whom prophet Muhammad met in that journey, in conclusion, the study refutes all the allegations about these ahadith and reveal the reasons behind the criticism.
