Abstract

This study deals with the impact of the reasons for divine revelation in the understanding of the legal verses of the Mawardi through his book (Al-Hawi Al-Kabir), in order to highlight the way in which he mentioned the reasons for legal verses, and to show the impact of those reasons in the statement of interpretative meanings and legal rulings.

It is clear from this study that the Mawardi’s mention is high due to the reasons of divine revelation in his book, but it does not mention its resources, nor its truth and take them in understanding meanings, the extraction of jurisprudential rulings, and its reliance on them in the weighting between words, and considered the general meaning of he word not for the reason.
