Abstract

This study dealt with the establishment and efforts of Imam Al shafi'i in the science of jurisprudential rules where it quoted from his works great and valued rules that were an incentive for Al shafi'ia later. The research will show the efforts of Imam Al shafi'i in the jurisprudential rules and highlight the most important jurisprudential rules quoted by the imam through extrapolate the rules that were quoted and how those rules influenced Al shafi'i doctrine and the science of jurisprudential rules. The main problem of the study concentrate on the efforts of Imam Al shafi'i in the science of jurisprudence rules and the researcher will highlight those efforts through the comparative descriptive approach and the analytical approach as well as the inductive approach through tracing the most important jurisprudential rules that were quoted by Imam Al shafi'i, and its impact in the subsequent jurisprudence rules. The study concluded that the efforts of Imam Al shafi'i in the science of jurisprudence had a great role in establishing this science whereas the Jurists of Al shafi'i doctrine have transferred some of these rules as it is, and rephrasing others and added to some others.
