Abstract
This research paper explains and confirms and the Islamic position towards The People of The Book and other non-Muslims in regard of protecting their lives and properties as long as they live within the Islamic state. The Dimi contract and the special security contract guarantee them to live in security and prosperity. The research paper concluded that Muslims should treat non- Muslims in general and the people of the book in particular according to the Islamic teachings.
