Abstract
This study deals with the issue of envy and its impact on the emergence of crime through the story of Satan and the Prophet of God Adam in the Qur’an, to stand behind the motives that made Satan envious of Adam u, and the methods he used because of his envy of Adam's temptation and get him out of paradise, and then show the effects of this envy on the envious and enviable To the commission of a crime.
The study aimed to clarify Islam's view of envy by interpreting the verses related to the subject analytically or in a comprehensive manner, and to show the impact of envy on the individual and society, and then the treatment of the Koran to the scourge of envy.
This is through the inductive method of tracking the verses in the Koranic story, and the analytical approach based on mothers of Tafsir. Opinions are mentioned and discussed through a critical approach.
The study concluded that envy is a heart disease that is horribly translated into action. And that the negative effects on the level of the individual is: religious, psychological, social and moral, as well as at the level of nations and peoples. And its association with many worldly and eschatological spoils. Where envy begins with its owner Verde and the best example of this is the devil. Envy is also one of the most heinous causes of the crimes mentioned in the Holy Qur'an, which are related to disbelief and loss of those who are at risk. And its treatment can only be raised religious religious.
