The Syntactic Analysis and the Parsing of the Subject of the Negative Particle (La) in Arabic

Abstract

This paper aims to study the syntactic analysis and the parsing of the subject of the negative particle (la) In Arabic. And to analyze its faction ad repetitive occurrence. It also explores syntacticians analyses of its subject ad predicate. In addition, it investigates its occurrence in Arabs dialects. The results reveal that: the problem of (la) functioning is related to two contradicted points, first, (la) implies general negation whereas (inna) implies emphatic. Second, (inna) indicates general affirmative while (la) indicates general negation. Another result indicates that the reason for its functioning in the definite rather than the indefinite is that the latter indicates la's general negation but the definite does to. Also, the ellipsis of its predicate or not depends on the Arabic dialects
