Abstract

Time, through its multiple fluctuations, expresses the movement of assets in the universe, as it is closely related to human being, because the human soul is subject to it and is affected by it wherever it is affected, for one of us is dependent on this time in its various states, whether sadness or joy, then time is the temporal system that governs you our life, our moves, and everything we feel, whether it is reality or imagination that our eyesight does not realize, and therefore it must be pointed out that time exceeded when it took for itself a distinctive space in various ancient and modern studies, the Arabic language was meant by it as it was devoted to express a number of vocabulary timeline, it also interested in the morphological structure related to the formulation of both names and verbs, and the syntactic grammatical structure in the sentence and its role in determining time by using a number of clues and tools, and the importance of the research lies in highlighting the difference in the views of the ancient Arabic grammarians between morphological and grammatical times and the role of context in relation to grammatical time. A cross-study is needed to find the most important differences between the Arabic and English languages in defining times
