Abstract

We limited this research to intertextuality, attempting to trace its forms and manifestations and the way it is employed in the poetry of Ilya Abu Madi, as the poet employs multiple forms of intertextuality, so that his poetry rises to a kind of metaphor and attachment between texts, and as a result the text that was penned in his poetry was not only based on the quotation, but rather It was acted upon and modified to serve the textual vision, and poetic evidence that reflects such an understanding was highlighted and analyzed
