Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of gifted students relationship with their siblings, and the impact of some variables on that relationship, the researchers used descriptive method, and the study individuals consisted of (400) male and female students enrolled in King Abdullah II Schools for Excellence from the lower, upper and secondary levels, and (400) from their siblings enrolled in regular schools from the lower, upper and secondary levels, a scale to identify sibling relationship level also the scale validity and reliability were verified, the results indicated with regard the relationship level of gifted and non-gifted siblings from each of them (as a whole) was high, , the results indicated that from non-gifted point of view there were statistically significant differences at significance level between mean of sibling relationship (as a whole) due to gender variable in favor of females, and for birth order variable it was in favor of gifted (smaller than my brother / sister) category, and there were no statistically significant differences at level of significance between mean of sibling relationship (as a whole) due to grade level variable, as for gifted students point of view, the results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between means of siblings relationship level (as a whole),‏ due to grade level variable in favor of the gifted from lower stage compared to the upper stage, there were no differences due to gender and birth order
