Al-Sakhra Company for Security Services and Consultations and its Role in Supporting Societal Security from the Perspective of Employees

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying Al-Sakhra company for security services and consultations and highlighting the role played by the company in supporting societal security from the perspective of employees. The study used the descriptive survey approach to achieve the study objectives. The study sample was randomly chosen and consisted of (150) employees from the retired military individuals working in Al-Sakhra company for security services and consultations. In order to achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to the respondents according to likert 5-point scale. It consisted of (19) items distributed to four axes.

The study results showed that the level of the role undertaken by Al-Sakhra company for security services and consultations in serving the community at overall level was high with a mean of (4.20) and a standard deviation of (0.52). The results showed that all the domains were with a high level, where " enhancing the values of faith and affiliation" was in the first place, with a mean of (4.23), "supporting societal security" was in the second place, with a mean of (4.21). " promoting media security" was in the third rank, with a mean of (4.18), while "enhancing the economic security" was in the last place, with a mean of (4.17).

In the light of the results, the study recommended the necessity of educating the community about the importance of the role played by Al-Sakhra company and other security companies in supporting societal security in order to establish a connection between security companies and local community to make the process of security-making as a collective process inside the community and a societal responsibility, in that it is not only the responsibility of the government and the security devices, considering the local community as one of the factors contributing to making security as it represents the important human element
