Abstract

The study aimed to identify the percentage of students enrolled in Palestinian universities obtaining services -at the secondary level, or university -that helped them identify their most appropriate university majors, as well as revealing their future vision for integrating into work after graduation, using the descriptive analytical approach. A random sample which consisted of (550) male and female students, (33%) of them males, and (67%) of them females from universities in the West Bank West Bank and Gaza Strip. Data was collected via Google forms. The results showed that (9%) of the Palestinian students in the school received services that helped them identify their most appropriate university specialties, and 16% of the sample members obtained services at the university that helped them identify their most appropriate university specialties, and there were no significant differences between males and females, among the West Bank and Gaza Strip in providing these services. And (53.3%) of the students expressed their desire to study at a university other than the one they are enrolled in, and there are no statistically significant differences between males and females in that desire, and 53.6% of them expressed their desire to study another major than they are enrolled in. The differences were statistically significant in favor of females. Results related to the future vision of postgraduate students indicated that (62%) of students want to find a job, whether in the public or private sector, and (24%) of them are looking to create their own project, whether the project is within the specialization, or far from Specialization, while a percentage (14%) are considering immigration and work outside the country.
