Abstract

يركز البحث على استعراض الخدمات المقدمة في المكتبة المركزية لجامعة صلاح الدين ومدی حوسبتها، فضلاً عن ذلك تناول البحث الجوانب التي تتعلق بمبنى المكتبة وموقعها، والكادر الوظيفي والدعم المادي، ومجموعة الكتب والمصادر المختلفة، فضلاً عن الإجراءات الفنية.

وكذلك التعرف على المشكلات التي تقف أمام المكتبة في حوسبة خدماتها، وتم استخدام منهج دراسة الحالة في تحليل البيانات المجمعة من خلال المصادر ذات العلاقة، وكذلك المقابلة مع المسؤولين عن الخدمات المقدمة في أقسام ووحدات المكتبة، فضلاً عن الملاحظة المباشرة لتلك الخدمات.

وخرجت الدراسة بمجموعة من النتائج والتوصيات تتعلق بتطوير المكتبة وحوسبة خدماتها والارتقاء بها إلى مستوى المكتبات التي تستخدم مختلف أنواع التكنولوجيا الحديثة في حوسبة خدماتها، وتقديمها إلى مختلف المستفيدين من منتسبي الجامعة كافة وغيرهم بشكل أكثر تطوراً.

The research focuses on reviewing the services provided in the Central Library of Salah al-Din University and the extent of its computerization, in addition to that, the research dealt with aspects related to the library building and location, the functional staff and material support, the collection of books and various sources, as well as the technical procedures.

As well as identifying the problems facing the library in computing its services, and the case study approach was used to analyze the data collected through the relevant sources, as well as the interview with those responsible for the services provided in the library’s departments and units, as well as direct observation of those services.

The study came out with a set of results and recommendations related to developing the library and computerizing its services and upgrading them to the level of libraries that use various types of modern technology in computerizing their services, and presenting them to the various beneficiaries of all university affiliates and others in a more sophisticated manner.
