Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة دور إدارات الجامعات الأردنية في تفعيل البحث العلمي ومقترحات لتطويره. تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعتي اليرموك والعلوم والتكنولوجيا الأردنية ممن يحملون رتبة أستاذ، أستاذ مشارك، أستاذ مساعد، والبالغ عددهم (1296) عضواً، تكونت عينة الدراسة من (351) عضواً اختيرت بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية. تألفت الاستبانة من (60) فقرة وزعت على خمسة مجالات، تم التأكد من صدق الأداة بعرضها على مجموعة من المحكمين من ذوي الخبرة والاختصاص في الجامعات الأردنية، كما تم التأكد من ثباتها باستخدام الاختبار وإعادة الاختبار (Test -Retest)، وقد تم جمع البيانات واستخدم الباحث المعالجات الإحصائية المناسبة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية:

إن دور الإدارة الجامعية الأردنية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس في تفعيل البحث العلمي كانت بدرجة متوسطة على الأداة ككل، وكذلك المجالات (الإجراءات الإدارية والتنظيمية، الإجراءات المتعلقة بأعضاء هيئة التدريس، الإجراءات المتعلقة بالمستلزمات المادية للبحث العلمي) وبدرجة منخفضة للمجالين (تمويل الأبحاث العلمية، الشراكة مع مؤسسات القطاع الخاص)

توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α> 0.05) بين وجهات نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس تعزى لمتغير الجنس على الأداة ككل وعلى المجالات (الإجراءات الإدارية والتنظيمية، الإجراءات المتعلقة بأعضاء هيئة التدريس، تمويل الأبحاث العلمية).

لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α> 0.05) بين وجهات نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس تعزى لمغير الخبرة على الأداة ككل وعلى جميع مجالات الدراسة.

توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α> 0.05) بين وجهات نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس تعزى لمتغير الرتبة الأكاديمية على الأداة ككل وعلى المجالات (الإجراءات الإدارية والتنظيمية، الإجراءات المتعلقة بأعضاء هيئة التدريس، الشراكة مع مؤسسات القطاع الخاص))

اقترحت الدراسة مجموعة من التوصيات من أهمها استخدام الأساليب والنظم الإدارية الحديثة في إدارة البحث العلمي وتوفير بنية متكاملة للعمل البحثي

This study aimed to know the role of Jordanian university administrations in activating scientific research and proposals for its development. The study population consisted of all faculty members at Yarmouk and Jordan Universities of Science and Technology who hold the rank of professor, associate professor, assistant professor, and their number is (1296) members. The study sample consisted of (351) members chosen by the stratified random method. The questionnaire consisted of (60) paragraphs distributed into five areas. The validity of the tool was confirmed by presenting it to a group of arbitrators with experience and specialization in Jordanian universities. Its stability was also confirmed using the test and retest (Test-Retest). Data were collected and used. Researcher appropriate statistical treatments. The study reached the following results:

The role of the Jordanian university administration from the point of view of the faculty members in activating scientific research was moderately on the tool as a whole, as well as the areas (administrative and organizational procedures, procedures related to faculty members, procedures related to the material requirements of scientific research) and a low degree for the two fields (financing scientific research, Partnership with private sector institutions

There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α > 0.05) between the faculty members' viewpoints due to the gender variable on the tool as a whole and on the domains (administrative and organizational procedures, procedures related to faculty members, funding of scientific research).

There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α > 0.05) between the views of faculty members due to the change of experience on the tool as a whole and on all fields of study.

There are statistically significant differences at the significance level (α > 0.05) between the faculty members’ viewpoints due to the academic rank variable on the tool as a whole and on the domains (administrative and organizational procedures, procedures related to faculty members, partnership with private sector institutions))

The study suggested a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the use of modern administrative methods and systems in the management of scientific research and the provision of an integrated structure for research work
