Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the impact of the employment of drama in improving the skills of solving verbal arithmetic problems to the students basic first grade in Rafah, researcher has used the experimental methodology, a sample of the students of the primary first grade (60) students were distributed to two equal groups, an experimental and a control of (30) pupils for each group. The study tool was a test, the results showed a significant effect in favor of the experimental group also showed no statistically significant differences related to gender differences, the study also demonstrated a significant statistical differences for the benefit of the students of the experimental group who are enrolled in kindergarten. The researcher recommended to work to improve verbal skills to solve issues in various scientific methods, and train teachers to employ drama, and include mathematics curriculum, and generally plays an educational curriculum meaningful, providing a school theater for each school.
