Abstract

The current study aimed to developing a proposed model to improve the quality of educational services provided to students with disabilities in accordance with the Kingdom's of Saudi Arabia 2030 vision, and measureing it on the University of Tabuk. The study sample consisted of (56) students with disabilities enrolled in the University of Tabuk. To achieve the aims of the study; The researchers developed a tool in the form of a model that represents the standards and indicators of educational services for students with disabilities in universities, it consistes of (64) indicators, distributed on five main standards: (administration and policies, learning and education, adaptation of tests, educational and physical environment, and student counseling), The validity of tool was achieved by the validity of the content, while the realibility was calculated by test-re-test method. Quantitative descriptive approach was used for its suitability for the purposes of the study. The results found that the level of quality of educational services provided to students with disabilities the universitiey of Tabuk, came at medium degree, with a mean of (2.89) and a standard deviation (74.). The highest quality level of these services was in the standard of administration and policy with a mean of (3.08), While the lowest level of the quality of these services was in the standard of student counseling with a mean of (2.76), then the standard of adaptation of tests with a maen of (2,78).The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the quality of educational services in student's responses refer to gender, disability, and educational level, but there were differences due to the type of faculity, in favor of the scientific faculities. The study recommends to activate the role of the student services unit with disabilities at the university, and the need to build executive plans to develop student counseling, tests adaptation, and physical environment services for students with disabilities in the university of Tabuk, and the need to adopt the proposed model in the study as a tool to evaluate the educational services provided for students with disabilities in other Saudi universities.
