Abstract

ImprisonmentofchildjuvenilesinSaudiArabiaisontherise due totherateofcrimecommittedbythesegroupofindividual.How- ever,imprisonmentalonewillnotbeabletocorrectthementalcondition of youngchildren,andcouldevenprovokethemtocommitmorecrimes later inlife.Thus,thegovernmentofSaudiArabiaintendstoestablisha rehabilitation centerforthesegroupsofpeoplethroughitsvision2030. Hence, inthisworkaconceptualproposedondevelopinganucleusreha- bilitation centeratJeddah,SaudiArabiaispresented.Inthiswork,the estimated netareaforthecenteris13118.3m2andthetotalgrossarea is 16699.56m2.Inaddition,thecenteriscomprisedoffewzonessuchas main reception,administration,archives,healthunit,reformprogram, entertainment,residenceofteenagers,mail,visitationandservice.More- over,therehabilitationcenterisproposedtobedevelopedatatDahban cityinJeddah,whichfulfilstherequirementfortherehabilitationcen- ter. Therehabilitationcenteraimstoproduceawell-behavedgeneration and helpthembeginanewphaseoflifewiththeirlocalcommunityand society,whichisinlinewiththevision2030ofSaudiArabia.
