Abstract
In the face of escalating environmental concerns and the finite nature of non-renewable energy sources, the imperative for sustainable energy solutions has never been clearer. Among these solutions, wind energy emerges as a significant contender, poised to play a pivotal role in the global energy transition. Wind, a result of solar energy variations and Earth's topography, offers immense potential for electricity generation. Understanding wind patterns and harnessing its energy through efficient technologies like wind turbines is crucial. This paper explores diverse flow control methods, focusing on passive and active approaches in wind turbine configurations. It discusses advancements in the field and outlines future directions for research and implementation.
