Abstract

This study aimed at recognizing the degree of commitment of educational leaders at Jordanian public universities to religious values, and its relationship with leadership efficiency. To accomplish the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed, and distributed to (339) faculty members of Jordanian public universities, for the academic year 2011-2012.

The findings of the study revealed the following:

The perspectives of a sample study of Educational Leadership Efficiency in Jordanian public universities were average. Regarding the degree of their commitment to religious values was also average. The results showed no statistically significant variances in the efficiency degree of educational leadership in public universities due to the gender variable and University and College, whereas there are significant variances in the efficiency degree of educational leadership in the Jordanian public universities that due to the academic rank variable and for the benefit of the Associate Professor. There were no results that show statistically significant variances in the degree of commitment to educational leadership in the Jordanian public universities to religious valuesattributed to the variables of the study. As to all the correlation coefficients between the degree of commitment to educational leaderships in the Jordanian public universities and leadership efficiency are positive and statistically significant.
