The Reality of the Professional Performance of Academic Leaders at Jordanian Public Universities
Abstract
The study aimed at identifying the reality of the professional performance of academic leaders at Jordanian public universities. In order to achieve the goal of the study, a questionnaire was developed consisting of (75) paragraphs which their validity and reliability were confirmed. The study sample consists of (200) leaders, the study findings showed that the degree of appreciation and the reality of the Professional Performance of Academic Leaders at Jordanian Public Universities from the standpoint of the study sample was a fair degree. The lack of significant differences in the study sample to the reality of the Professional Performance of Academic Leaders at Jordanian Public Universities is due to the job variable at the macro level of the research tool variables. The study recommended, in regard of the previously mentioned findindings, initiating the training programmes to raise the level of performance of Academic Leaders, and enhancing the Academic Leaders Appraisal and discuss with them their appraisal items.
