Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the most important factors affecting academic achievement from the point of view of the students of the Basic Education College in the Public Authority for Applied Education in Kuwait, and determining whether there were differences in the responses of the sample members due to gender variable. The sample consisted of (300) students in the College. To collect the data from the sample, a questionnaire was developed including (40) paragraphs. The study found that thirty-three paragraphs are considered factors affecting academic achievement at a high and medium level, and the rest of the factors are low. The results also showed differences in the students' perspectives towards the factors affecting academic achievement due to gender in favor of females.
