Evaluation of Institutional Performance in Public Education in Saudi Arabia in Light of the Balanced Performance Card
Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the extent to which the institutional performance in public education can be evaluated in light of the Balanced Performance Card, from the point of view of supervisors in the educational supervision offices and school leaders, in order to reach a proposal for evaluating the institutional performance in general education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This study used descriptive approach and the sample of the study were (970) supervisors and (31046) school leaders. A questionnaire of (65) items was designed on four main dimensions (beneficiaries, internal processes, post-human development, information technology, and financial dimension). The study reached several results:
- The sample of the study highly agreed on the possibility of evaluating the institutional performance in general education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the Balanced Performance Card.
- construct a proposal for evaluating the institutional performance in general education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the Balanced Performance Card, and connect it to the General Education Agency and the School Supervisory Performance Management System.
