Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the status quo of students' activities management in public secondary schools in Palestine. In order to achieve the goal of the study, a questionnaire was developed consisting of (50) items. Validity and reliability were verified using appropriate statistical methods. The study sample consisted of (391) school principals and school activities head departments from the Palestinian Ministry of Education and its directorates. The descriptive method was used .The study results showed that the degree of estimation of the status quo of students' activities management in public secondary schools in Palestine from the members’ point of view was medium. The results of the study showed that there were no significant differences in the estimates of the sample of the study of the status of management of student activities in the public secondary schools in Palestine due to the variables of job title, gender, geographical area, scientific qualification and experience at the whole level of the tool, and on all dimensions. The study recommended the necessity of continuing the reforms in the educational system by considering students' activities in education as a starting point for solving the educational and the environmental problems with active contribution of students.
