Abstract

The study aimed at revealing the degree of the use of the students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan for social networking in the educational process and its relationship to creative thinking. In order to achieve the aims of the study, a questionnaire was developed consisting of two parts: Social networks in the educational process and the skills of creative thinking. The researchers used the descriptive survey approach and the questionnaire was distributed on the study sample which consisted of (141) students. The results showed that the degree of use of students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Jordan for social networking in the educational process was high. Also it was indicated that creative thinking skills were high in all areas in the total score. The results also revealed that there was a strong correlation between the degree of use of social networking sites and creative thinking skills.
