Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the level of psychological flexibility in and its relation with the psychological stresses of students in first-year preparatory at Al-Jouf University at Qurayyat. The researchers used the descriptive comparative relational approach through the psychological flexibility measure and stress measure. The sample of the study consisted of (140) randomly selected students. The results indicated that the level of psychological flexibility came to a low degree, while the psychological stresses came to a high degree. The results also indicated a statistically significant inverse relationship between the psychological flexibility level and psychological stress among students. The study recommended several recommendations notably providing training programs to raise the level of psychological flexibility and reduce students stress rigidity.
