Evaluating the Effectiveness of Kindergarten Programs for Children with Hearing Impairments from the Workers Perspectives
Abstract
This study aimed at identifing the level of the effectiveness of kindergarten programs for children with hearing Impairments from the workers perspectives. The study sample consisted of (34) workers. To achieve the aims of the study, a scale was developed to evaluate the effectiveness of the programs provided to the children with hearing impairments from the workers perspectives. The scale consisted of (96) items distributed over (9) domains. The scale validity and reliability were assured.
The results showed that the level of the effectiveness of kindergarten programs for children with hearing Impairments from the the workers perspectives was high. Also the results showed significant statistical differences due to the experience variable infavor of the most experienced workers. In addition, the results revealed that there were significant statistical differences due to the sector variable and in favor of the private sector. The researchers recommended studying the impact of obtaining training courses on contemporary issues in early childhood programs for children with hearing disabilities, as well as using the method of interview and direct observation to evaluate effectiveness.
