Abstract
Quality management of the principals of secondary schools in thenorthern West Bank for the work pressures on teachers from their point ofview.The study aimed to determine the level of quality management of theprincipals of secondary schools in the northern West Bank for the work pressureimposed on teachers, and to find out the relationship of each of the variables(sex, academic qualification, years of experience, school location) on theresponses of the members of the study sample towards quality management ofthe principals of secondary schools in the northern West Bank and the workpressure on teachers.The researcher used the descriptive method for the appropriateness natureof the study using a questionnaire which consists of eight domains distributedto a sample of (112) teachers in secondary schools Governorate Qalqilya,north of Palestine. The data were analyzed using (SPSS). The results showedthat the level of quality management of the principals of secondary schools inthe northern West Bank and the work pressure on teachers was high in termsof percentage (%73.8). The evaluation of functionality of the teachers got thehighest rates of responses, followed by the domain of effective leadership,then the domain of improving working conditions, and then regulating therelationship with the community lies in the domain of motivation and the fieldof differences in the work, and finally the field of human culture in the worklies in re-designing of jobs.The results showed no statistically significant differences at thesignificance level (α = 0.05) in the responses of the members of the studysample towards quality management of the principals of secondary schoolsin the governorate of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank .It also showedthat the work pressures on teachers are attributable to the variables of sex,academic qualification, years of the experience, and location of the school.The study came up with the following recommendations:1. The need to conduct awareness sessions for the principals of schools todeal with the pressures of work.2. The need to train teachers on how to manage pressure at work and warnthem of the danger of its continuity.3. The need to strengthen the relationship between the school and thecommunity through certain activities
