Abstract

The current study aimed at investigating the effect of an Instructionalprogram on developing second grade secondary students usefor the cohesive tools in the writing. To achieve the aim of the study,the researcher designed an instructional program, and a test whichconsisted of 9 various and different items .The sample of the study consisted of 50 students from Kharja secondaryschool for boys in Bani kanana directorate of education for theacademic year 2012- 2013. They were chosen purposefully: 25 of themrepresented the experimental group and the other 25 represented thecontrol group.The result of the study revealed that there were statistically significantdifferences in the test in using the cohesive tools in the writingdue to the way of teaching and in favor of the experimental group (Instructionalprogram).
